October 24th: Autumn Assembly at 11.10 am in the school hall (for parents of pupils in Junior Infants as space is limited) October 25th: School closes for Halloween break. Pupils may dress up coming to school but please remember that the children will be in these clothes all day so they must be warm enough to go out to the yard. Halloween break: school is closed from October 28th and will re-open on Monday November 4th. November 11th : both Junior and Senior Schools will be closed for teacher training in the New Primary Language Curriculum Nov. 19th and 20th: Parent Teacher meetings will be organised from 3.00 pm until 5.00 pm approx..Teachers will be in touch after Halloween to fix a time that will be suitable for you. December 18th: Junior School Nativity Show will take place in the church from 12.45 pm until about 1.45 pm. Please let your child's teacher know if you do not want your child to take part. There will be a joint Carol Service involving pupils from the junior school,senior school and Confey College (pupils from 2nd classes only) but no date has been given yet. (This is to promote interaction between the different age groups) Christmas holidays: School will close on December 20th at 12.30 pm.
